How do I apply for a Live Trading Account?
Applying for a Capital Index MT4 account is quick and easy. The online application takes less than 5 minutes to complete and can be accessed at the following link: Open a live trading account.
What documents do I need to open a trading account?
Know Your Customer (KYC) or Know Your Client is a form of due diligence which helps to ensure that financial institutions have detailed information about their clients.
Not only does this enable Capital Index to better understand our clients' requirements (including considerations such as risk tolerance and investment preferences), it also aims to clearly identify who the institution is dealing with and helps to prevent fraud on customer accounts.
Upon completion of your application, we will notify you if we require any supporting documents. This is usually a form of ID and current proof of residence. The requirements may vary depending on where you are resident.
Will I be able to open accounts in different currency denominations on MetaTrader 4?
Yes. Capital Index offers MT4 accounts denominated in EUR, GBP and USD.
Do you offer Joint accounts?
No, we do not offer joint accounts.
Do you offer Corporate accounts?
Yes, we do. Please contact a member of our Client Service Team who will be happy to discuss this you and assist in getting your application underway.
Why do I need to pass the test on the application form?
As a regulated entity, Capital Index is required to assess whether the products we offer are appropriate for our clients, in respect of their knowledge and experience. This is due to the complex and high risk nature of our products. As part of our client on-boarding process, we have implemented an assessment that helps us evaluate whether the product is appropriate for the potential client, in light of the client’s knowledge and experience.
What can I do if I do not have the proper documents to open an account?
If you are unable to provide the documents required please contact a member of the Client Service Team who will be able to discuss possible alternative solutions with you.
